The Locanda dei Cinque Cerri is set in a farm of 17 hectares, of which 5 in the woods, located in the Bolognese Appennines, near Sasso Marconi. In the forest there are mainly indigenous varieties of trees, such as blackthorn and hawthorn, broom, oaks and hornbeams blacks, hazel, wild cherry trees and oaks; in the meadows it is still possible to admire the precious blooms of Mediterranean orchids and anemones of the forests.
La Piccola Raieda is a typical farmhouse in the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines surrounded by green pastures and ancient woods just a 20-minute drive away from Bologna and a 45-minute drive away from Florence.
The Farmhouse Cà di Mazza is located on the ridge between the Valleys of Savena and Setta, just along the route of the “Via degli Dei” connecting Bologna and Florence. The farmhouse has an important and interesting history: the famous family of arquebusiers Negroni lived there and handed down from father to son the art of making firearms from the mid-eighteenth century to the first decades of the nineteenth century.
The name Il Passeggere is thought to derive from "passeggeria", that is a place of great transition: near the houses of Passeggere there is a cross, whose origin dates back to the Roman road “Flaminia Militare” and to the trail of medieval times, according to a path retraced today by hikers on the “Via degli Dei”.
