From Madonna di Fornelli you have to go to Pian di Balestra. You have to follow the CAI sign n° 019. After that you will see four crossing tracks: follow the track signed as "Via degli Dei – Futa e Strada Romana" (Via degli Dei – Futa and Roman Street). On your leftside you will see a wooden gate: go throught it and walk into the forest. After few kilometres you can see some Roman Street's ancient stones called "Flaminia Militare" - 187 b.C. Go straight ahead and you will see another wooden gate with a drawn italian red sign: "chiudere il cancello grazie" ("close the gate, please"). Then you will see a great green open area with a white street and an old house on your right (Località " I Capannoni"). Follow the street and you will see a tree with Via degli Dei CAI signed on it. After that, go ahead and turn to the right. This track is not well signed but after few meters you will see the CAI sign n° 019 on a tree on the right side. Go ahead and you will arrive at Piana degli Ossi (Bones land). Here you can see some Roman 2nd century b.C furnace ancient stones.
This furnace was used to make the limestone become quicklime by the fire, for building use.Go on walking, when you see the sign "Passeggere" and two crossing tracks with some wooden sign "Piana degli Ossi - la Futa" you have to turn to the left. At the next crossing turn to the right and after a while you will see an artificial lake. This lake has an enclosure: walk along this enclosure 'till the end. Then, turn up to the left and go outside the forest. Here you will see two open areas: the first one is on your right, the second one is straight ahead and it is called "radura della Banditacce". Go on walking on the main track and you will get the top of the hill (cima delle "Banditacce"). This is the highest place of the Via degli Dei track, about 1200 mt. After few metres you will arrive at "il Poggiaccio". This is the halfway between Bologna and Florence. The Via degli Dei track goes a little bit down on the leftside: follow it and after a while you will see well-signed and beautiful Roman Street's ancient stones. Go on walking and you will arrive below "Poggio Castelluccio". If you want you can follow Poggio Castelluccio sign on your right (that means you have to go up on the hill leaving Via degli Dei). Up to Poggio Casteluccio there are acient Italian castle stones (V-III century b.C). Come back on the main track, go on and follow the "Futa" sign. Then you will see a car street: now you are on the Tuscany-Futa street. Walk on it and you will see a big building: this is the German graveyard. Continue on the Via degli Dei track, so walk on the car street until you see a traffic circle. Here you have to turn to the right and on your left side you will see "Santa Lucia – Monte di Fo'"sign. So, turn to the left and go down on the main track. Go on walking for 3 km more untill you see two crossing tracks. If you turn to the left you will arrive inside the Sergente Camping in Monte di Fo'. If you turn to the right you will arrive in Santa Lucia town, near Monte di Fo'.
